The skills framework has been developed for the ODP by operational delivery colleagues across Government and represents the diverse breadth of roles we see in the Civil Service.

Follow these steps
If you want to develop your skills, first of all you need to understand which job family and role cluster you belong to, or wish to belong to, and what skills are relevant to the role cluster. Once you understand the job families and skills, you can find and access appropriate learning mapped to the core skills.

Job families are groupings of jobs related by common requirements for knowledge, skills and behaviours.

The ODP core skills define the skills and experience needed for ODP roles.

The Learning Curriculum signposts specific ODP learning against the core ODP skills. This allows you to understand the learning recommended to support your career development.
